Blackrock Hut - 870.5 miles
Silver strap tells you where your are going and where to are..hard to read
Patches sewing a duck tape patch on his rain cover
13 miles today to Blackrock Hut - do not know why they call it hut - looks just like shelter. The park is pretty level so far - some small rocks (hard to pitch tent on rocks, but we manage) Some hikers saw a black bear today - we saw deer - turkeys ( a family with little ones) - black snake. The trail is very busy with weekend and day hikers - 6 in shelter - 3 tents - not many flowers - some Mt Laurels - lots of pine trees.
Have fun - we do!
