Lemon Squeezer,NY -1374.2 miles

Still more boulders - very technical climbs with out equipment. I did not fall today - some stiffness from prior days - NEW YORK IS BRUTAL - did 14.3 miles today. The Lemon Squeezer is a tight fit for hiker and backpack - we made it safely. Island Pond Mt very high technical climb. I thought I might need to take my backpack off - but I did it with backpack and all - Patches was standing by. (Some of the young hikers could not make it and went around the easy way) When we get to the shelter and hear the young hikers tell how tuff the day was - I feel better about our hike - what we have achieved.

Tomorrow we meet Patches Uncle Roger - will spend the night in Connecticut.
