1390.4 miles - 785.8 to go

We made it in good time back to trail head and post office to pick up Patches' boots - now we are ready for trail. Had difficulty getting white gas - so Patches made a simple alcohol stove out of coke can (we will see how it works). We went through Bear Mt Trailside Museum and Zoo - very depressing - small cages - animals look so weak and sick - very sad.

The trail is nice very easy compared to prior days - NY water looks brown even after treatment.
We still meet hikers with Lyme disease - they carry on slowly.
